The Paragon Loop is one of my favorite short rides in the Morehead area. The Paragon loop is highly customizable, although this is about as short as you can make this ride. Paragon offers what I believe to be one of the most scenic sort rides there is in the Morehead area. You start out on KY 519 and ride to Paragon, where you will find approximately 5 miles of water (sometimes on both sides of the road) with a ton of stopping points, followed by Jones Ridge Hill. Jones Ridge Hill is very steep, very narrow, and pretty long (also with the occasional moss growing on it because it stays damp so Be Careful!!!). Jones Ridge Hill Leads to Jones Ridge, you climb from some of the lowest points to some of the highest points in this area in a matter of seconds. Jones Ridge is mostly farm land and it's a pleasant ride with lots of grand views. Soon you will come into Nichols Branch, about a half mile to a mile in you will come to Nichols Branch Hill again
very steep, very narrow, pretty long, and gravel on the road sometimes (again Be Careful!!!). After Nichols you're back to dry creek and on to Morehead.
Sorry no good food on this ride, Fast food will have to do...
Things To Keep In Mind On This Ride:
Loose gravel
Dogs
Farm animals
Farm Equipment
One lane roads on steep hills
Pot holes
Flooding
